Night Swimming and other new works …

The new paintings in this show continue in a vein of work that I started two years ago that keeps finding various figures immersed in bodies of vague water. My initial intention for this show was entirely different but the deadline crept up on me and this was the way out. I don’t know what these paintings mean if anything but I’m just following where they take me for now. I intend to swap a few pieces in and out during the month to add some variety to the media mix. For the start, they are all painted backwards on glass (old repurposed windows).
