Lighthouse Roasters – Hand Roasted Coffee in Seattle’s Fremont Neighborhood
At the corner of 43rd and Phinney in Seattle’s vibrant Fremont neighborhood, inside a 120-year old craftsman building, you’ll find Lighthouse Roasters, a Seattle coffee roaster where history, community, and exceptional coffee meet.
Since 1993, we’ve been hand roasting small-batch coffee with care and consistency. Our team of 15 coffee professionals brings over 250 years of combined roasting and barista experience, with many team members working here for 10, 15, and even over 25 years. This isn’t just coffee, it's a craft, a commitment, and a way of life.
We roast all of our coffees on a vintage 1952 Gothot cast-iron drum roaster, a hands-on machine that produces the depth, character, and flavor that modern automated roasting can’t replicate. Every batch is roasted with intention, guided by the senses and skill of people who truly know great coffee.
Whether you’re visiting our bustling Seattle café for an espresso or ordering freshly roasted coffee beans online, Lighthouse Roasters delivers a cup that reflects decades of passion and expertise.
