Sumatra is a mountainous island in the Indonesian archipelago. The coffees produced here are famous for their distinctive flavor profile, which arises from a variety of factors including soil composition, climate, coffee varietal, and the unique processing method favored on the island. This process, called wet hulling, involves partially drying the coffee seed, and hulling it while it is still damp and soft. It is then dried exceptionally slowly on patios, and often piled under tarps at night to further slow the loss of moisture. The result is a very heavy bodied, sweet coffee with muted, round acidity and a one-of-a-kind flavor that is often described as earthy.

We roast Monday through Saturday and we move quick.Orders in before 8am ship the same day. Anything that comes in after 10am Friday ships Monday -because even coffee needs a weekend to regroup.
Once your order heads out, USPS or UPS will take it from there. Most shipments land in 3–5 days.

We ship our freshly roasted coffee Monday through Friday using USPS. Shipping times may be affected by national holidays. If you place your order before 8am, it will be shipped the same day. Please keep in mind that we do not process orders on weekends. If you order between Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon, your order will be shipped on Monday.
This is one of my favorite day to day beans for drip coffee. Great scent development as the pot brews, flavor is earthy and not too bitter or sweet, just right for every coffee drinker friend and client I share it with as well.
