Grown on tiny plots by over 20,000 small-scale farmers in East Timor’s rugged highlands, this certified organic coffee comes to us through the Cooperativa Café Timor (CCT). Formed in 1994 with support from the USDA and NCBA, CCT empowers local farmers and builds stronger communities—one harvest at a time.

A Bit of History:
Coffee first hit East Timor over 400 years ago, brought by Portuguese colonists. After leaf rust wiped out crops, the resilient Híbrido de Timor varietal was introduced—and it stuck.
